Whether you’re an adult today, a teen, or a youngster, there’s always something magical at the thought of visiting our grandparents.
Perhaps it’s their quiet and wise ways and their excited smiles at seeing family visit. Maybe it’s the tons of food that get served whenever we do. Either way, memories with grandparents are always fun-filled.
To all Tucker Budzyn fans out there, this is a major throwback for you. Tucker was a mere puppy then, and he loved Grandma. The Golden Retriever was a biter, but he surprisingly didn’t do so with Grams.
Tucker was a ball of fur and energy, bringing joy to everyone he met at Grandma’s. Except for the resident doggo there, the Golden puppy didn’t have a hard time getting accepted.
After hugging and cuddling with Grams, it was time to play. Tucker and the resident dog got into the pool, and although the older dog was a bit grumpy and reluctant to accept this newcomer, she finally did.
Who could say no to that constant tail-wagging and friendly behavior? Maya, the resident dog, knew that this puppy only wanted friendship, so she relented. Good boy, Tucker!
After their pool play, it was time to dry off. The blankets were laid out on the grass, and the dogs plopped on them to begin drying themselves. Tucker took this opportunity to get to know the resident doggo more.
Maya was not in the mood, so she bumped Tucker with her snout. Down went Tucker, and everyone was amused at what happened.
The puppy didn’t take any offense, and we’re pretty sure that both pets became fast friends soon after. That’s the power of persistence and friendliness.
We’re willing to bet that Grams gave Tucker more than his share of treats that day. We wouldn’t be surprised if she packed something special for him to bring home. Grandparents rock!
